JT Health is a membership-based concierge practice for all patients. Below is how billing and insurance work alongside your membership.
A monthly fee based on age, billed semi-annually or annually. Not covered by insurance, but may be a deductible medical expense on your tax return.
We accept Medicare and file claims with Medicare and your supplemental plan for office visits and services. Office copays or deductibles not reimbursed by insurance are the patient’s responsibility.
For commercial insurance, we are an out-of-network provider but offer complimentary claims submission. Most PPO plans provide partial reimbursement, subject to your benefit plan’s provisions.

Dr. Tsuei grew up in Walnut Creek, California. She attended UC Davis with a major in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior, and a minor in technology management.
She received her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco — where she received the Primary Care Award in 2021.
After residency, Dr. Tsuei started her private practice in Orinda. Frustrated by the constraints of the traditional healthcare system, she opened JT Health to deliver concierge primary care the way it should be: unhurried, personal, and built on lasting relationships.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tsuei enjoys being outdoors, staying active, organizing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
